About the history of El Tremedal, there is nothing to emphasize -- a wall, a house, etc, that could testify the antiquity of the town.
One can look at some boulders that are superimposed, in a way quite similar to a dolmen or megalith, and around it a fence with the remains of a wall, moderately visible that would seem to have a relationship with the rocks. If yes, it could be prehistoric. There are many questions, about whether it is a dolmen or not, what it seems is that some meaning has. The stones are in the southern part of the site that we say "Cerrado", a few meters north of the Canchal de los Cierros.

What our guests say:
We have enjoyed a great weekend in a place without equal, in Tremedal, in a rural house with all kinds of comforts, very functional, and decorated with a lot of detail and love. We would have missed anything to spend two days of rest and enjoy the cuisine and the peace of the area .
We are regular users of rural homes and I can confirm that in very few we have found the quality-price of Cá la abuela María, the taste, the care and the detail that they have put into the preparation of this house.
The owners have been very attentive to our needs and soothed every doubt that we had, and they have made us feel very comfortable.
A real pleasure, a 10 🙂
The house is great. It is equipped and with everything necessary in order not leave it during our visit. One could stay there a long season. Idyllic site in the heart of Gredos.
